Attendance tracking with location-aware clock-ins
People clock in from the browser or their phone. DeskAttend records where, checks it against your work locations on the server, and judges lateness against each person’s shift in their own time zone.
What it does
Clock in from anywhere you allow
Web and phone clock-ins, with the location captured at the moment of clocking in — never tracked in the background.
Geofences decided on the server
Each location has a point and a radius. The server decides on-site or off-site, so a tampered phone can’t claim to be at the office.
Shifts, grace and lateness
Late, half day, short day and overtime are judged against the person’s shift and your rules — 09:10 with 10 minutes’ grace is on time; 09:11 is late.
Night shifts done right
A 22:00 → 06:00 shift counts as 8 hours on the night it started, not as two broken days.
Offices in different time zones
Give a location its own time zone. People based there are judged in their local time.
Today view for managers
Who is late, not in yet, off-site or still clocked in — with a one-tap reminder.
How it works

Questions
Does DeskAttend track people all day?
No. Location is only read at the moment someone clocks in or out.
What happens if someone clocks in off-site?
The clock-in is recorded and marked off-site for the manager to review — it isn’t silently blocked.
